Golfers Tee Off for a Cause

The Westmont Classic Golf Tournament was a blazing success, raising more than $45,000 for student scholarships. About 90 golfers braved Santa Barbara Golf Club with temperatures in the low 90s on Oct. 17. The team that was scorching hot was Matt Hopper, Bob Nicholson, Tom Nelson, and Reed Sheard, which shot the lowest round and claimed top honors that evening at Mulligan’s Café. The Title Sponsors for the tournament were Terri and Eric Mozilo. Save the date for next year’s Westmont Classic on Friday, Oct. 15, 2027, at Sandpiper.
