Hello Loves! Happy June and my bday month! Your Society Edit GF is here with all the tea for Father’s Day, celebrated on Sunday, June 21, with news on shopping sprees, dining, and yes, the Dodgers!

First up are tickets for The Los Angeles Dodgers Father’s Day “Give Away Day” home game at Dodgers Stadium on Sunday, June 21, against the Baltimore Orioles. Tickets include a gift with purchase. Renowned metal rock guitarist Nita Strauss (Alice Cooper) who plays in an upper box for fans during the game (#IFYKYK) will not be there as she and her hubby/manager Josh Villalta just had their first child on May 28, son Maxwell James!

This week jaunting around the shops at the Montecito Country Mart for Father’s Day finds, I spent a “minute” with John Quandt, store director for Orlebar Brown, which is owned by French luxury fashion house Chanel. We talked retail and what’s on for Father’s Day for Montecito. Quandt shares for our dear readers, “Please join us at Orlebar Brown at the Montecito Country Mart for a Father’s Day Sip & Shop on Saturday, June 20th, from 10 am to 4 pm. It’ll be an in-store moment focused on gifting ahead of the holiday, with light refreshments.” From there we decided on a quick photo op of their latest men’s offerings, indeed their Summer Season has arrived! And oh… the designs on swim shorts, trousers, shirts and color-coordinated polo shirts are magnificent.

Next up, the Montecito Country Mart’s marketing team emailed me with the message that British luxury brand Sunspel is having an in-store event on Saturday, June 13, 12-4 pm, adding: “Discover their latest collection, enjoy personalized monogramming from their in-store embroiderer throughout the day, with drinks served as you browse. Plus, receive a complimentary Classic Boxer Short with purchases over $500.” At Sunspel, seek out the linen shirts and trousers, textured striped camp collar shirts, cotton mesh polo shirts, and their “holy grail cotton boxers” for the special man in your life.

Hudson Grace sent me a lovely evite detailing their gifts for dad, and a nod to the World Cup coming up. For Father’s Day they offer Aromatic Nougatine Truffle Chocolate Cigars, Tratto Ribbed Eco-Crystal Old Fashioned glasses, crystal and sterling silver cocktail shakers and decanters in sets, a Jean Dubost BBQ set, cookbooks like A Man and His Kitchen and The Backyard BBQ Bible, plus scented candles.

Strolling through Emily Joubert, I found their display of dad gifts featuring leather flasks, various period piece photo frames, shoehorns, and “Montecito” embroidered baseball caps.

You know for certain that Matt Albiani and Ron Brand’s shop Mate Gallery has all the curiosity finds for dad, from vintage Miramar matchbooks, leather photo frames, fish-shaped brass bottle openers to a bit of clothes done Boston style.

Do dash over to The Post Montecito for Father’s Day shopping, where the Post peeps recommend The Optimist, which carries over 60 brands from around the world, Save Khaki United, Velvet, and Eleventy. And of course, Ojai Ice Cream weekend popups!

The Los Angeles lifestyle brand, Period Correct, brings its “Pitstop Car Show” to The Post on Sunday, June 14, 9 am to 12 pm. All car makes and models are welcome! Hosts include The Optimist, and special espresso drinks from Little King.

There is the “DAD’S DAY COOKOUT” at The Post Montecito, Saturday, June 20, from 12-2 pm, with food by CHX Sandwiches – the Los Angeles’ boutique fried chicken food truck serving fried chicken sandwiches – Breadtop hot dogs, beer, ice cream, and more TBA.

On Sunday, celebrate Father’s Day at San Ysidro Ranch with a special brunch at Stonehouse Restaurant featuring a refined three‑course menu, free‑flowing champagne, Bellinis, mimosas, and Bloody Mary’s, and live music for Dad to groove to. Guests will enjoy a live cigar-rolling experience throughout the event, with expert rollers handcrafting cigars tableside in the traditional Cuban style. Attendees can watch the full rolling demonstration, select from mild, medium and full-bodied blends, and choose from a variety of cigar shapes. Cigars will also be cut onsite for guests to enjoy immediately, with each one finished with a custom San Ysidro Ranch band for a personalized touch.

Reservations required. Pricing starts at $250 for adults, $125 for children 12 and under.

Also on Father’s Day, at Rosewood Miramar there will be dining as always in Caruso’s and… weather permitting, the chance to take an ocean swim to The Miramar Swim Raft, as one of Miramar Beach’s most storied traditions.

Don’t forget to swing by Rori’s Ice Cream on Sunday, June 21, where they will be offering a buy one scoop and dad’s scoop is free. Remember to book that round of golf for dad at Ty Warner’s Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course at The Montecito Club. Bored? There are hiking trails to be explored, mountain biking, and more… but wait, that Dodgers’ game…!

Till next week my loves! Xx JAC
