Summer Solstice Soirée

By Montecito Journal   |   May 26, 2026

The Summer Solstice Celebration will bring its signature spirit of creativity and community to Montecito on Friday, May 23, with the return of the Summer Solstice Soirée, an elegant afternoon fundraiser supporting Santa Barbara’s iconic arts festival. Held at a private Montecito estate, the event will combine art, music, performances, and philanthropy in a festive poolside setting.

Guests can expect live music from guitarist Quique Hernandez-Black, performances by ElectriCirque and La Bohème, and tastings from local restaurants, wineries, and breweries. The event will also feature curated live and silent auctions showcasing original artwork, experiences, and artisan goods from beloved Santa Barbara creatives and businesses. Featured artists include Larry Vigon and Stephen Holland, among others.

Proceeds benefit the nonprofit Summer Solstice Celebration, helping fund its free annual parade, festival, and community arts workshops. This year’s Solstice theme, “WAVE,” promises another colorful season dedicated to artistic expression, energetic participation, and joyful community connection.

Editor’s Note: This was printed in last week’s edition as taking place at the Community Arts Workshop, please note the location is in Montecito
