On 08/10/26, arrangements were made for two vehicles to be picked up at the above location and delivered to Florida. It is suspected the company – engaged by an online broker for the job – obtained falsified business credentials to bid on the contract. A legitimate subcontractor was used to do the initial pickup and delivery of the vehicles to Long Beach. Since then, the vehicles have not been seen. One of the vehicles’ GPS systems pinged in Long Beach, and when respondents arrived at the location the vehicle was not there. LBPD advised there had been a call for service with similar circumstances the previous week. Both currently missing vehicles were entered into the Stolen Vehicle System (SVS).
