Crime in the Cito: Sheriff’s Blotter 93108
Theft / 1500 block Ramona Lane — Tuesday, April 29, at 13:25 hours
Victim came to the Sheriff’s Station to report a Rolex watch stolen from his residence when he moved in 2023. He suspected it might be someone from the moving company.
Assault and Battery / 300 block Gibraltar Road — Tuesday, April 29, at 19:09 hours
The two victims were walking along the side of the road picking wildflowers when a man stopped his vehicle in the middle of the road and began yelling at the victims about trespassing and picking endangered plants. The man exited his vehicle and charged the victim and grabbed him by the collar. The other victim attempted to break up the fight and the Suspect grabbed him by the collar as well. The Suspect disengaged and charged the first victim, who front-kicked him in the midsection. Deputies attempted to contact the Suspect, but were unsuccessful. The case will be sent to the District Attorney’s Office for review and filing.
Burglary / Olive Mill Road — Friday, May 2, at 17:21 hours
Victim reported that during a renovation of her residence, a Glock pistol and high-end chairs were stolen out of a locked storage container in her back yard. The Victim believes the items were taken in April of 2024 but isn’t necessarily sure if her gun was stolen or just misplaced. She stated movers had transferred several items during the past year to and from her storage container.
Sex in Parked Vehicle & Cocaine Possession / 1110 Channel Drive — Friday, May 2, at 23:06 hours
Deputy witnessed suspect engaged in sexual intercourse inside a parked vehicle on Channel Dr. Upon contact, suspect admitted he was on probation. A probation search of suspect’s wallet yielded approximately 1 gram of cocaine. Suspect was booked at SBJ without incident.
