Presented by Pierre Claeyssens Veterans Foundation with Santa Barbara’s beloved Prime Time Band

By Montecito Journal   |   July 2, 2022

Pierre Claeyssens Veterans Foundation (PCVF) will be joined by Santa Barbara’s beloved Prime Time Band on 4th of July for a free festive concert at 5:00 PM at Santa Barbara County Courthouse Gardens.

Enjoy pops tunes, family favorites and patriotic classics, plus a special guest performance by the Prime Time Band. Attendees are encouraged to go early to claim a spot on the grass and to bring their picnic, beach chairs and blankets.

The Prime Time Band is a vibrant group of more than sixty amateur musicians—all mature adults whose primary mission is providing free concerts for the greater Santa Barbara community. The band will sing the Armed Forces Salute, Sousa marches, a Broadway medley and America the Beautiful.

“This is a great time for the community to come together to celebrate this time-honored 4th of July tradition,” said VFW Lifetime Member and PCVF co-founder Lt. John Blankenship (USN, former). “4th of July is important because it signifies the birth of our nation and we look forward to welcoming you and our many supporters to this patriotic event.”

This is a free event. Santa Barbara County Courthouse Gardens is located at 1100 Anacapa St, Santa Barbara, CA 93103. To learn more, please visit https://www.pcvf.org/fourth-of-july
