Monte Vista Dog Park & Pup Lit

Dogs unite! You will soon be able to bring your furry loved ones to a dedicated park just for dogs, pending the Carp ARB approval on the design and development plans to make the Monte Vista Dog Park permanent at the Thursday, July 16, meeting. While waiting to hear, the park’s Temporary Use Permit has been renewed for another year. Pet owners and supporters can show some love by sponsoring a Dogipot Station for $160/year – contact [email protected]. Meanwhile, The Well on Lillie Ave, Summerland donated Dogipot Stations for the community. Placements include the Summerland Presbyterian Church.

And in case you need more dog one-on-ones, the Carpinteria Library’s certified therapy doggies invite kids of all ages to read them a story every Thursday at 10 am, throughout the summer. Call the library to sign up!

All paws say “Aye” and perhaps set a precedent for Dogs of Montecito!
