Is Your Pup CVR’s Next Top Dog?

Coast Village Week is here. From September 10 through 17, the boutiques, restaurants, and galleries along Coast Village Road are running promotions, receptions and events all week long. The biggest question of the weekend, though, is whether your dog is about to become famous.
Top Dog Days Photo Booth | Saturday, Noon to 3 pm
Grab your four-legged friend and make a splash at the Top Dog Days Photo Booth on Coast Village Road. Every pup photographed will be entered for a chance to be featured in the Montecito Journal and to win a custom sketch of your pup by artist Peter Horjus, valued at $750.
Stop. Sit. Smile. Enter! Visit the photo booth in front of Renaud’s to get your pup’s picture, then scan the QR code to enter.
While you’re there, don’t miss the Bougie BARKery SB pop-up, featuring human-grade dog treats made right here in Santa Barbara. Your pup can sample fresh pupcakes and Banana Peanut Butter and Pumpkin Apple treats in a variety of playful shapes, while supplies last.
Can’t make it to the photo booth? Snap a photo of your pup anywhere along Coast Village Road, scan the QR code and upload your entry.
Come early, bring your best-dressed pooch and explore Coast Village Road, where dog-friendly merchants will be welcoming pups with treats, smiles and plenty of tail-wagging fun.
Brought to you by the Coast Village Association and the Montecito Journal.
Beyond the Canvas Art Walk | Thursday, 4-7 pm
Visual art, photography, culinary arts and fine art will all be on display from Olive Mill Road to Middle Road. Be sure to stop by:
• Nurture Cottage for The Art of Table Setting with Apples to Zucchini.
• Caldwell Snyder’s artist reception featuring Bobbie Burgers.
• A Homer Montecito meet and greet with Colette Cosentino and Peter Horjus, with a live painting experience.
• A European antiques and art pop-up at Hermosillo, to meet artist Kjirsten Fouts and antique curator Dina Litt, offering sips and nibbles.
The Art of Table Setting at Nurture Cottage
Because setting the table is about creating an intentional space to gather, enjoy a shared meal and connect with one another, join Apples to Zucchini on Thursday for the Art of Table Setting. While strolling the Art Walk, find them at Nurture Cottage, where they will be sharing culinary trivia and a little inspiration around the art of setting the table. Apples to Zucchini is Santa Barbara’s only nonprofit cooking school, with a mission to bring people together over shared meals.
Exotic and Vintage Car Day | Sunday, 10 am-2 pm
Distinctive automobiles add another layer of style and nostalgia to Coast Village Road. Walk the road to chat with owners and get a close-up view of a McLaren MSO X and a Ferrari 812, plus a range of fast cars from Porsche, Mercedes and Fiat.
