Surrounded by striking black-and-white photographs from across his remarkable career, Jeff charmed the packed gallery with deeply personal tales from film sets spanning more than 90 movies. Guests listened intently as he reminisced about working alongside his father, Lloyd Bridges, on Sea Hunt, and photographing life on the set of The Fabulous Baker Boys with brother Beau Bridges. Sister Cindy Bridges added a warm family sparkle to the affair.

Moderating the discussion was daughter Jessie Bridges, who proved wonderfully warm and engaging. “We’re here today to have fun and engage with everyone, and feed off each other’s creative energy,” she smiled, setting the tone for an afternoon filled with affectionate banter. The loving rapport between Jeff and Jessie gave the afternoon its real magic – less Hollywood Q&A and more intimate family storytelling around the supper table.

The exhibition also spotlighted Jeff’s beloved vintage Widelux panoramic camera, used throughout his career to capture candid moments behind the scenes in Hollywood. Guests were fascinated to learn that the original factory burned down decades ago, and that Jeff and Sue Bridges are now partnering with Silvergrain Classics to revive the legendary camera with the newly launched WideluxX.

At one point, Jeff reflected warmly, “Photography is magic! You capture moments in time using just lights and shadows, and you hold that in your hand, and you realize – the extraordinary magic in life’s little moments.”

The exhibit’s nostalgic warmth also echoes Jeff’s ongoing community work with local nonprofit champion Mark Alvarado and brother Beau, filming a PSA for the Downtown Club promoting healthy eating and exercise for local children. A picture perfect creative collab, making more magic moments.
