Keith Moore donated a rare 1966 Old Spanish Days Fiesta poster to the Santa Barbara Historical Museum. The image of a caballero flamenco dancer, reminiscent of Timo Nuñez, still bears the artist’s signature, prompting Museum Director Dacia Harwood to call it a remarkable find.

The gift carries special meaning for Moore. His mother, Phyllis Moore, was Saint Barbara in 1949 and spent decades assembling an impressive trove of Fiesta memorabilia. His family’s connection stretches back even further: his grandparents attended the first Fiesta parade in 1924.

While the poster awaits cataloging, visitors can explore the museum’s New Acquisitions exhibition, which includes a 1900s school desk, an 1800s Chamber of Commerce seal, a De la Guerra family jewelry box, and more – each piece with its own story to tell.
