You won’t feel any pane paying at Santa Barbara’s latest walk-up food joint The Win-Dow, located on the corner of Chapala and Ortega, opposite Paseo Nuevo.

The eatery, which features $4.35 smash-cheeseburgers and inexpensive fried chicken, along with $6 milk shakes, is the sixth outlet opened by founder Jeff Goodman, who formerly worked at the Four Seasons Biltmore.

Others are based in Long Beach, Hollywood, Venice, Silver Lake, and the Grove – a shopping complex near Hancock Park owned by Rosewood Miramar developer Rick Caruso.

The property was formerly a Mexican restaurant which closed in June 2020.

“We are now making plans for a seventh outlet,” says Jeff.
