Stream Three for Free

RTC has also another gift for theater lovers this month by offering free viewings of Arlene Hutton‘s Nibroc Trilogy via Vimeo recordings of the award winning works directed by the company’s own Katherine Farmer. Nibroc is a set of three plays about the challenges of a young couple living in Kentucky and Florida in the 1940s and early 1950s, following May and Raleigh from their meeting through the war years and then a decade into their marriage. Rubicon Theatre is able to share two free digital performances of each of the plays – Last Train to Nibroc, See Rock City, and Gulf View Drive – through the usually pay service DigitalTheatre.com, and they are the first U.S. company able to use the London-based platform. The plays star Erik Odom, Lily Nicksay, Sharon Sharth, Clarinda Ross, and Faline England, and will screen only twice over Vimeo over three successive weekend, July 11-12, 18-19 and 25-26. Register for the free screenings in advance at www.rubicontheatre.org/nibroc-trilogy.
