Day of Reflection

By Steven Libowitz   |   January 23, 2020

Sarah McLean leads a meditation immersion/mini-retreat at Montecito Meditation from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday, January 25, that serves as an opportunity to unplug from the bombardment of sound, take a respite from technology, put aside to-do lists and dive deeply into your interior. Offerings include silent meditations, a walking meditation, a guided inquiry practice, and a council practice, plus a wisdom talk from McLean, who previously served as the Program Director for the Chopra Center for Wellbeing and founded the Meditation Teacher Academy at the McLean Meditation Institute to train others before co-founding Montecito Meditation. But the primary focus of the Day of Reflection retreat is the practice of Noble Silence. The retreat cost is $55 in advance, or $75 at the door, and is limited to 15 participants. Call 805-770-8188, email events@mcleanmeditation.com or visit www.montecito-meditation.com. Montecito Meditation Center is located at 1801 East Cabrillo Boulevard, across from the Andree Clark Bird Refuge.
