Sea Glass Treasures
Just a short note about this weekend’s Fifth Annual Santa Barbara Sea Glass & Ocean Arts Festival, featuring ocean-inspired art made by artisans from across the U.S.A. and that’s set to take place at the Earl Warren Showgrounds on September 14 and 15. In addition to some fifty-or-so artists’ creations on display (and for sale), there are also art workshops, speakers, live music, a treasure contest, and other sea-leg diversions.
Festival hours are 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday, and 10 am to 4 pm on Sunday. Tickets are $5 for Sunday admission, $7 for Saturday admission, $10 for a two-day pass, and $15 for Saturday Early Bird admission. A portion of proceeds from the Fifth Annual Santa Barbara Sea Glass & Ocean Arts Festival will benefit the Santa Barbara Maritime Museum.
